Soil washing plants
SOIL-WASH processing plants are characterized by individual design and construction in partnership with AKW, according to specific operational parameters; their flexibility allows a fast set-up for treatment of different types of contaminated soils. SOIL-WASH processing plants are available in stationery standard version or mobile concept for “ex-situ” soil remediation.
Soil washing separates the larger-grained, cleaner soils from the silt and clay, concentrating contaminants in this fraction.
Application of soil washing process is suitable for soils and materials contaminated by: BTEX (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylene); chlorinated hydrocarbons (PCE, TCE); mineral oils; PAHs (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons); cyanides; phenol; heavy metals.
