Vacuum sewerage systems
Vacuum sewerage system is a method for collection and disposal of sewage, utilizing the energy of atmospheric pressure by creating a vacuum in leak-proof piping system. Small-diameter HDPE pipes are laid in a 'sawtooth' profile intended to form 'pockets' of liquid to be progressively transported by the air introduce at each interface unit, in direction to the central sewage collecting tank.
The main advantages of the systems are: rapid installation, narrow trenching, shallow excavations, sealed small diameter pipework.
